Another Great Weekend at the Academy

We had another fantastic training camp with Dave Arnold this weekend.  Lots of great things happening at the Academy this year.  Thanks Dave!!!!

Each season Gymnastics PEI celebrates its finest gymnasts and most dedicated coaches, judges, and volunteers by hosting the ADL/Sport PEI Achievement Awards.

Island Gymnastics Academy Hosts 36th Annual Gymstrada

Gymnasts from the Island Gymnastics Academy will perform their annual gymnastics dance and tumbling extravaganza, Gymstrada, at UPEI on June 9 and 10.  The performances run at 6:00 pm on Friday and 11:00 am on Saturday and are open to the public.  Admission (cash only) is $5 adult, $2 students, and free for pre-schoolers .

A much-loved Academy tradition, the year end show features both recreational and competitive gymnasts from pre-school to adult.  The competitive girls will feature numbers choreographed by Halina Terentieva, who directs the dance program for the club.  “Each year our Gymstrada gets better and better. It is a very entertaining show. ” says Recreation Director, Shelley Ferguson.
