Congratulations to  Ryan, Ian, Isaac and coach C.J.  on their impressive results at the BlackJack Men’s Championship, Feb 17-21 in Las Vegas, one of the largest gymnastics meets in the United States.  The boys also had the opportunity to train at Desert Cats gym on Friday!!

Ryan McKenna, Level 9 15+: 3T All-Around, 2^nd on floor, rings and parallel bars, 3^rd on high bar, 6th on pommels and 7^th on vault

Isaac Bourque, Level 8 11-12:10^th All-Around, 3^rd T on vault, 7^th on rings, 8^th on floor, 9^th on parallel bars, 10^th on high bar

Ian McKenna, Level 8 13-14: 7^th All-Around, 3^rd T on floor, 4^th on pommels, 5^th T on vault, 6^th on parallel bars, 7^th on rings and 8^th on high bar

Good luck to Ryan, Ian, Isaac and C.J.  who are travelling to compete at the BlackJack Men’s Championship at the Cashman Convention Center in Las Vegas.  Running since 1995, this meet has grown into one of the largest gymnastics meets in the U.S.. In this Olympic year, the event will also feature the best male gymnasts in the United States qualifying to the Olympic trials series. Academy gymnasts will have the opportunity to watch the top American gymnasts as they prepare for Rio! Have a great competition!!

Congratulations to Emma, Ida, Alexa, and Bria who competed in Florida at the Presidential Classic at the ESPN Centre at Disney World Orlando. The meet hosted hundreds of gymnasts from across North America and the Caribbean, over 14 different countries!

Bria Gallant – 11^th AA, 6^th on beam and floor

Recreation Re-Registration Information for Spring 2016

As a current member of the Island Gymnastics Academy, you have first option to re-register your child for our spring term.  To allow everyone the time to re-register, registration will be open from now until Feb 29^th.  This is before the end of the term, after which date any remaining places will be offered to members requesting a class change and clients on the waiting list.
