Prince Edward Classic 2015
We are hosting 400 of the region’s top gymnasts this weekend (January 23-25) at the Delta Prince Edward. Athletes from all across Atlantic Canada will compete for a spot on their provincial teams. Athletes who qualify at this competition have the opportunity to compete later in the season at regional & national championships. Island Gymnastics Academy has hosted this competition annually for the last nineteen years.
This event is open to the public, providing Island gymnasts with the opportunity to showcase their talents for a hometown crowd. The Saturday evening session, which begins at 4:00 pm, will feature the National and Canada Games athletes and promises to be an exciting competition.
All Academy classes are cancelled Thursday evening, January 22 to Monday, January 26 inclusive.
The PEI Men’s Canada Games Team had the opportunity to attend a training camp this past weekend at the National Training Center in Montreal!!
