Team PEI athletes head to Regina, Saskatchewan to compete at the CANADIAN GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!

Coaches Jim Rand and CJ Keliher leave today with their athletes, Sam Gillis, Alex Mann, Carson Younker, Matt Gallant, and Sam Mallett to attend the Canadian Gymnastics Championships in Regina, Saskatchewan.  The competition will take place May 21-26 at the Credit Union Eventplex.  The competition will be live streamed beginning on May 22 (click here).  Results can be found on Gym Score Depot as they become available (click here).

 Congratulations to all the girls who competed at the Eastern Canadian Gymnastics Championships this weekend.  Great job done by all!!!!

HELLO FROM QUEBEC!!!!!

Training on Friday went great!!  We are at the soccer complex in Charny Quebec.  All competitons are in the same venue – Artistic in one half, trampoline in the other half.

Team PEI had a great day at the Aquarium du Quebec.

We saw walruses, seals, tons  of fascinating fish and we added one more to our team!!

First day of competiton went well, with a 7th place finish on beam for Annika Landry.  Way to go Annika!

Team PEI gymnasts head to Levis, Quebec   to compete at Eastern Canadians!!!!

The Academy’s top female gymnast, Cassie Feehan (pictured below), will lead a team of seven girls heading to Quebec City this weekend to compete at the Eastern Canadian Gymnastics Championships.  The top gymnasts from Quebec, Ontario and all four Atlantic provinces will be participating.  GOOD LUCK to Cassie, Alison, Annika, Tessa, Alicia, Selina, Chelsea and coach Sharon Gareau.  GO TEAM PEI!!!!!!
