As we ease back into opening programs up again, but still under the CPHO restrictions, this week will see a return to the Club for those in the competitive programs only. They will receive an email as to when their training will be. Things have changed a bit from the pre-Christmas schedules.

Our pre-school and recreation programs will start up again the week beginning Monday, February 7. Our apologies, as we had hoped to open up those programs this week too, however there are some things around scheduling, physical distancing, and numbers we are allowed to have in the gym, that means we need to take a bit longer in getting things ready for those programs. Please check your emails this week as to clearer instructions as to schedules and what protocols we are following once classes resume. No parents will be able to view unless accompanying toddlers in the Bouncing Babies or Kindergym programs. For those first-timers to the gym in other programs who may be nervous about leaving their child, we will be offering a brief orientation before classes start up again so everybody is familiar with the routine.

Once again we thank everybody for their patience. We understand and realize everybody wants to get back to some kind of normal, most of all the coaches and staff at IGA. If you have any questions, please send us a message either through Messenger, or the Club e-mail. Thank you!

Following the CPHO announcement yesterday, we are working on resuming classes starting next week, January 31st. However, there are restrictions on the numbers of gymnasts and coaches allowed in the facility, which we will be working to resolve in the coming days. This may involves some scheduling alterations or changes. Please check email, Facebook and the website as we prepare for the return of classes.

We ask everybody to continue to remain patient. As always, sincere thanks for your support, and we look forward once again to activity in the gym!

Following the most recent announcement from CPHO, the IGA will be closed to ALL training until January 31. There will be no classes of any kind.

Obviously we hope to be able to offer something after that date, if restrictions are eased. We still hope to offer some kind of pre-school and recreation program this term to all those who have registered for those classes, and we will work on what they may look like once further information becomes available.

We really do appreciate everybody’s patience and support in what are very frustrating and difficult circumstances for everybody.

Be kind and stay safe!
