The Island Gymnastics Academy is a Not-for-Profit organization that was formed in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island in 1981. The Academy offers pre-school, recreational and competitive Artistic Gymnastics programs for boys and girls.
Congratulations to all of our fantastic athletes and coaches for another outstanding performance at our end of year Gymstrada!! and a special Thank You to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped to make this year so successful!!

38th Annual Gymstrada
Gymnasts from the Island Gymnastics Academy will perform their annual gymnastics dance and tumbling extravaganza, Gymstrada, at UPEI on June 14 and 15. The performances run at 6:00 pm on Friday and 11:00 am on Saturday and are open to the public. Admission (cash only) is $5 adult, $2 students, and free for pre-schoolers.
A much-loved Academy tradition, the year end show features both recreational and competitive gymnasts from pre-school to adult. The competitive girls will feature numbers choreographed by Halina Terentieva, who directs the dance program for the club. “Each year our Gymstrada gets better and better. It is a very entertaining show. ” says Recreation Director, Shelley Ferguson.

Fantastic job by Team PEI gymnasts and coaches at Canadian Championships!!!
Results
Ian 20th AA, Cameron 27th in Open.
Sophie 24th in Level 10, Victoria 45th in Level 9.
Special shout-out to Chloe Cudmore (Victory) who finished 3rd on vault on day one, and finished 26th overall in Level 9. Molly McKenna was 46th and Maia MacLean 48th.
And another great job by coaches CJ, Shelley and Kristi!!
