HARVEST CLASSIC 2014
As the Island Gymnastics Academy is hosting the first competition of the season, ALL classes are cancelled on Friday, Nov 21 and Saturday, Nov 22. There will be regular classes on Sunday, Nov 23 for recreation and mini tumblers, but competitive classes are cancelled.
Come watch gymnasts from across the Island compete on Friday and Saturday. Competitions run both days from 9:00 am-7:00 pm.

Lest We Forget
The Island Gymnastics Academy will be closed on Tuesday, November 11/2014.
There will be no classes on Remembrance Day in Charlottetown and Montague.
On November 2, The Island Gymnastics Academy hosted the first of three selection meets for the 2015 Canada Games women’s gymnastics team. The results from the event will carry over to the final trials to be held later in November. Nine of PEI’s top gymnasts competed to qualify for the Games and to secure their spot on the final team of six. Gymnasts competing were Paige Mills, Dara MacInnis, Megan Doucette, Natalie Haddad, Selina Mahajer, Chelsea MacLeod and Karisa Quinn of Island Gymnastics Academy. Competing from Victory Gymnastics were Madison Kelly-Maund and Seven McHatten. The top score of the day was from Selina Mahajer of Island Gymnastics Academy with an impressive score of 45.1.
“We have a tremendous pool of talented gymnasts vying for spots on
this team. It will be a very tight race as we select our team.” says
Gymnastics PEI Technical Director Sharon Gareau.

Congratulations to Academy gymnast, Ethan Arsenault.
Ethan recently won a trip to space camp at the Cosmodome in Quebec. Ethan won the contest by writing an essay about why Astronaut Chris Hadfield is an important role model. Fantastic job!!!!!!!
